David Nguyen, Mechanical Engineering Lead
Inconel 718 is an austenitic nickel-base superalloy which is used in applications requiring high strength. It was initially developed for the aerospace industry and is still used for most of the aircraft engine components. It has high strength, outstanding weldability with resistance to post-weld cracking and excellent creep-rupture strength.
