hi guys so i’m new to 3D printing and i want to buy a printer under 400 EURO so can you please help me choose one cause there’s alot

Hi Omar!

I’d suggest taking a look at Hub’s printer guide here (Best 3D Printer Guide 2023 | Hubs) and sort by price. This is a nice comparison tool, and it’s based on user experience here. This will at least help narrow down your list of available options, so you have a better place to start from then just going in cold.

Hi Omar, what you choose as your first printer may depend upon how much you’re interested in the technical side of printing, as opposed to simply wanting to print things in 3D. If you go for something like the Micro:

that may be a fine printer (I don’t know it), but it’s going to give you little opportunity to make alterations, or to really understand what’s going on. On the other hand, if you choose something like the Velleman K8200:

It may not look as pretty, but you’ll have almost endless opportunities for change (there’s all sorts of enhancements and upgrades out there for this printer), and it’s a lot easier to see and understand the printer itself.

Sub €400 isn’t going to get you a fantastic, ultra-realistic printer, so treat this as an investment in learning, not only learning the 3D printing process itself, but also learning what your own real needs and limitations are.

Hi @Omar_Bentaleb

The two I would reccomend are Geeetech and Wanhao.

Geeetech has many different models, kits etc. Geeetech’s support isn’t as good as Wanhao’s but both have large communities for any issues experienced.

The model we sell the most of - Wanhao Duplicator i3 Version 2.1. It’s very popular, very high quality & very reliable. To me, it’s like the toshiba of budget 3D printing. It’s $399 USD but I’ll give you a $20 off coupon if you want to buy through us - BEAUTIFUL. Free shipping etc. (the link goes through to our store)

All the best!
