Today is that day of the month again when we announce the 3D printing trends gathered from you guys!

I think the printer quality ratings section is pretty interesting. With Kossel XL and DeltaWASP taking the lead , Zortrax M200 is looking very strong by maintaining an average of 4.8 star rating from the 437 reviews!

Is the printer really that reliable? Do you guys find it easy to operate?

Yes, Zortrax has an excellent quality and it is extremely reliable, and I think it is even underrated in this report, do not know why.

I agree with ShareMind. The print quality is 2nd to none. In our office we have a replicator 2x, Taz 4, CubePro, M200 and an Objet 30 Prime. As far as FDM goes, the M200 has completely blown my expectations of what an FDM printer is capable of away!

That’s very interesting! Do you guys have any pictures of what the machine can do?

Why do you think it’s underrated? It’s in the top 3, but with a lot more reviews than the top 2 (more reviews tend to pull away the average / median from the extremes). So, depending how you look at it, its basically on top

Wouldn’t you agree?

Sure!

Hi Filemon, how are you?

I do not agree simply because of the very different quality you can get with a Zortrax compared with the Delta Wasp and Kossel (which I know both very well). But I could also say that I do not agree because the reliabitly of the Zortrax is a lot superior, the frame is more rigid, the electronic is better, the microsteps four times more of the other printers, print bed surface is better and print bed is removable, extruder can reach 380°, software is simple to use and always gives out good parts, print dimensions are a lot more accurate, etc.

On top of this, Kossel is a cheap kit, simply not comparable with printers like the Wasp and the Zortax. It is on a completely different category. Everyone that tried to calibrate a delta kit knows very well how much it is difficult to print just a cube with accurate dimensions. How it is possible to consider such a printer as the best printer on the market? Maybe the people who have been able to successfully afford this task are so entusiastic to spend exagerate valutations.

Good day again @Edo_1

I totally agree on the Zortrax part. However, the ratings are based on how customers valuate their prints. Basically the combination of operator and printer if you like. The fact that Kossel is so highly rated in this case, means that the customers are happy with the prints it produces. Maybe even more amazing considering the price.

Nothing in this case is said about the hardware, setup, etc.

Hope that clarifies a bit!

Cheers,

Filemon

I used the M200 allot (multiple of them) and it is a great machine but it has it’s limitations.
