Hiya,

Has anyone got error 99 on their Z18 before? I can’t seem to find any info on the support pages to provide further info?

All its says is:

CHAMBER ERROR

Error 99: Chamber Fan Failure

Any ideas?

I’m going to ask the obvious question here: have you checked the chamber fan (should be in the back near the bottom) to make sure it’s working?

Chamber Fan is working - Weirdly / fingers crossed its gone away - managed to get hold of someone from MB who said its possibly a software error so I’ve Re-firmwared & Software

and touch PLA its been ok…

Just for those who may come across this error!

I’ve spoken to makerbot and we think we’ve solved the issue - its software not hardware (even tho the error points to hardware)

Don’t use the standard profiles - Make sure you chamber temp is set to 22 Degrees or something simular it seems to solve the issue!
