So I’m in a predicament here. Just got a Select Mini and got a nozzle clog with PETG. I swapped it out with another nozzle but the new one was at least 3mm longer. I tried to set a z offset with G1 Z3.5 G92 Z0 and M206 Z3.5 but when I home the Z, it still grinds into the plate (which is as low as possible). So what I did is open up the back panel to see if I could stick a piece of cardboard to act as a z spacer. The thing is, the limit switch looks messed up. The metal arm is only looks bent and messed up. My question is, what should I do? I could try and unclog the old nozzle, pursue software z offset, or continue with the cardboard z spacer. Thanks.
Never mind, I fixed it. The metal arm is attached to the switch with 2 clips, one of them came out. Just take out the front and back panels, unscrew the limit switch and stick the arm back in.
