Greetings… i’ve finally powered up my Anet A8, got the bed a paper’s thickness gap from the extruder nozzle at the corners & middle from home but when i try to print, 2 anomalous things happen:
1 first the right-hand Z-axis motor turns, raising the bearing & throwing the carriage out of alignment, then lowers to relevel, at which time the left-hand motor turns in sync, then:
2 the bed positions at centre, but the right-hand motor must bring the carriage too low because the extruder nozzle contacts the bed, tearing up the covering and etching an outline of the part i’m trying to print in the aluminum;
At first i tried printing with the firmware that came preinstalled and the same step 1 happened but then when it started to print, the nozzle started too high, squirting a plastic noodle in the air, so i reflashed with Skynet and now i have what i described above. I’ve rechecked the wiring and everything is plugged in correctly.
Any idea what is going on? thank you

Figured it out, the linear bearings are supposed to be lubricated but not the lead screw nuts… oiled the lead scres and it’s printing a filament guide… it’s under extruding a little, might have to up the flow rate, learning as i go
