i have an Anet A8 printer and after i printed a spool cone adapter to make feeding the machine easier my Z axis does not want to home out or even start a print in the proper position. when i home the axis it crashes the whole assembly into the stop swicth and keeps going till the thing decides to stop. but oddly enough when i try to print something the axis will respond with going up about 4 inches and tries to print about 4 inches off the board and im forced to pause the printer and manually set it to the right position.
