Hey everyone,
I just finished fixing my 3D Printer’s thermistor and heater cartridge just to run into this. The filament will not get extruded! The nozzle is clear, but I think it is the stepper gear which grabs the filament and makes it turn. When I pull the filament out, it has a polished notch in it, like the printer was trying to extrude it, but the shaft was pushing against the filament instead of the gear. It looks like the gear is fine, aside from a bit of filament in between the spokes. I don’t have any idea how to fix this! I have determined it is on the stepper shaft side, not the other side, so it can’t be a loose gear. Any help is greatly appreciated.
