I was wondering if anyone has found a way around the NFC tracked filament. I can’t roll back my software and use the NFC chip reset hack because my printer is already at version 2.8 I believe. Version 2.8 prevented any rollback to previous versions. I called tech support asking how to turn back my printer to an older version of firmware and they were livid and hung up on me. They skyrocketed their filament price from $18 to about $25-$30 now per 600g roll of PLA. I am relatively new to the 3d printing community and this is only my second printer. This printer is costing me more than it is worth. Any help to get around tracked filament? Or any advice on what to do? It is a very nice printer and I would hate to get rid of it just because it is costly to print on it.

Best regards,

-Steve
