is there someone else printing with a X350 Professional Printer? I like to get in contact with other X350 users to exchange best Print Settings. Kind regards, Johannes

Hi Johannes,

I have one but it was literately “dropped off” for delivery. Severely damaged and working on getting a replacement. Very disappointing. I’ll be in touch once I’m up and running.

Take Care,

Chad

Hi Chad,

Hope you will get your problem fixed as soon as possible. The X350 is a very nice printer with a fantastic potetial and the company bulding it are cool and smart people. I picked up my X350 direct in the company close to Munich and transported it home by car.

Please tell me about your solution with your damaged printer and hopefully your first prints with it soon.

Best regards,

Johannes

Hi Johannes, unfortunately, this is not going to be a fast process. Being in the middle of the USA, a new printer will take a long time to get here. Plus, there’s insurance to deal with and get approved. I pre ordered it last June 5th and now I have to wait even longer. Can’t trust shipping companies with precision equipment like this. Damage: The printer was dropped so hard it bent the footpads in as you can see one in the picture. The printer heads flew around inside the machine causing damage, the build plate came off the stand and the glass is broken and shattered. Also took his side impact causing damage to the computer board. Cooling fans were damaged, along with a handful of other things. Did you get the dual head with updated 3DSmplify? Just wondering. Chad

Hi Johannes,

I will get my X350 dual print head next week. Hopefully undamaged.

We can surely talk then. I think we are not so far away from each other.

Cheers Alfred

Hi Alfred,

I’m living close to Frankfurt but traveling a lot. My X350 is a single head so far but I plan to upgrade it for dual head.

Are you using the X350 for Hobby or professional use?

Kind regards,

Johannes

Hi Johannes,

I will use it only professional.

cheers

Alfred

Hi Johannes,

i use my printer since October last year. I tried a lot of materials - PLA, AS, ABS, smart ABS, Ployamid, Nylon, Filaflex - as you can see at my HUB’s infos and some photos there. The hardest challenge is to get y connection to the bed. So i tried the GermanRepRap original green PET Adhesive Layer and a yellow “Kapton” (not original - China stuff), adhesive spray, adhesive stick (Pritt)…

What is your experience about bed-layer combining with some materials? And the settings for the materials are sometime a bit tricky. If you like we can share the experience …

I also found a better solution to hold the filament (an old photo-stative) …

Kind Regards, André

Hi Johannes,

Just revived and X350 with enhanced print bed and added a exchangeable glass plate on alum plate. Works very fine and print a lot of materials on it.
