I cannot reliably complete a print job without the Y axis carriage shifting out of position mid-print. The problem usually occurs only once or twice per job after hours and hours of successful printing.

Troubleshooting: All the belts and pulleys are tight. When I set the machine to hold position and I manually force the carriage to move, the motor is what ultimately gives way. (not the belts or pulleys). Either I have a faulty motor or the current settings for this motor need to be increased. Increasing the current is not something that can be done unless you are a darn software engineer. (I proposed that an official firmware be updated with increased Y axis motor current.)

Solutions tried: My firmware is the latest version. I loaded up the BQ recommended print settings and turned the speeds WAY WAYYY down from what they recomended. Down to 120mm/s print speed and 250 mm/sec^2 max acceleration. This machine is super slow at this point and yet this problem still occurs. Anyone else dealing with similar issues?
