Hi all,
New user to s3d and getting the printing issue below on the left side of my print.
Strange thing is, If I print two of these tops side by side, the right one is fine, however the left side top displays edges like below.
Any ideas? Slight over extrusion?

Hi @Subspace3 I’d say that’s more likely to be an issue with the printer itself rather than a fault in S3D. What speed, fan, material, nozzle temps are you using?
40 mm/s base speed, (lower for outlines) fan 100% PLA 210C. Basically similar settings to when using cura and those prints didn’t present this issue.
Ill try with a lower flow and double check filament diameter. In cura I was increasing flow slightly to improve outer lines and make them appear smooth.
Try to rotate it by 45 degrees clockwise or the other way. Sometimes this can help with odd exterior issues. Also see that the perimeter order is set to inside - out. Maybe try it the other way and see but usually that is not so good if there are overhangs or holes.
