I’m totally new to 3D printing. I recently bought a Flashforge Creator Pro & so far have only managed to print one box test print. I did the test print by using the SD card direct into the slot on the printer. Since then, whether I try & use the SD slot or try using the laptop through the USB connection, as soon as it’s about to print it enters ‘pause mode’! Can anyone offer any solutions please. Thanks

Hi Mike? What software do you use to manage the slicing process?

It could be that you’ve enabled the p-stop button and since you don’t have one, pause all the time. It’s under one of the settings menus, I’m not sure which at the moment, but you should find it and make sure it is disabled.

But the pause command may also be in your gcode. How did you set it up?

Not sure it is related but are you printing through usb? I had that issue until I would print from sdcard due to com speed.

If you are printing via USB and your computer goes into “Sleep” mode, then the print will cancel or pause… I had similar issues printing via USB as well, you have to make it so your computer doesn’t go to sleep.
