Hi have a zortrax m200 which is great. It has a ztemp conversion so I can print all sorts of stuff but with hacks. I’d rather leave it to print abs based filament which it’s best for and get something else that’s dedicated to pla and allows me to use a proper slicer program.

any thoughts for the best pla printer?

my very short list;

bcn sigma (cos I could also print support material although I’m a little concerned about calibrating 2nd extruder)

prusa mk2 (quality looks great, although looks like a long wait for the multiple print function)

up! Mini or other variants

monoprice mini (cos it’s very cheap and looks like you get decent prints and easily mod the machine)

Fusion3 F400 :slight_smile:

Hi jonah

good call. I’ve not seen one of these before. There is not much to find on the internet either. There is some really good stuff on these like the e3d hot end and it comes with simply3d.

are these available in the U.K.?

thanks

paul

There isn’t nearly as much information about the F400 as say a makerbot or a prusa. The company doesn’t spend their entire budget on marketing and they are not low cost so they are not well known.

Not sure how much shipping is to the UK, we could work up a quote if you want.
