Ola all
wanted to find out where I could sell my printer? Im looking to upgrade to something a little easier to understand, love tinkering but I dont have time for tinkering so ill be selling my i3 for a easier set up.
Would ebay be best or is there some hidden 3d printer market in london?
I sold my modified Printrbot Simple Metal on eBay and that went just fine. I sold it as not working with a full description (it did work, just not perfectly because of the Z-probe sensor), along with a whole bunch of part-used filament. Given more time, I could probably have had it back to full working order but in the meantime I’d switched over to my two LulzBot machines (3mm filament) and no longer had a place for the Printrbot and its 1.75mm filament. It ended up finding a new home with someone who already had two other Printrbots and knew them well, so it turned out great for everyone :-).
I know that probably doesn’t help much, but I just wanted to let you know that selling printers on eBay has definitely had some past success.
Thanks loads. Ill do that then
How much do you want for it? Do you have any images? Thanks.
Heya yeah. I posted it on ebay but im willing to take £200 for the printer only (only for 3DHubs members…

Honestly I dont have the time to fiddle.
Depending on what replaces it I might be able to pop in a roll of PLA as well.
Hi @Saffa3D,
If this is still available for £200 I’m interested. I’ll be passing St Albans tomorrow evening and could collect then if it’s convenient.
The ebay listing mentions dampers, y-axis mods, and z-axis mods. Could you briefly explain these?
Tom
I offered £200 for collection tomorrow & was rejected.
