Hello folks, Where do you get good quality filament in Europe (belgium). Also, I own an original prusa mk2, what is the strongest material I can print with this printer? And where can I supply it from? Thanks a lot!

Hi @Racoon44 I’ve pretty much fallen in love with the PETG from RealFilament. Took a while to get the settings dialled in perfectly on my Prusa, but once done it’s great; massively high detail, zero warp, water resistant, the lot and it’s as least as strong as ABS. Hopefully I’ll never have to print with that foul stuff again. I like the RealFilament brand because they stock opaque colours; most brands seem only to stock translucent. Oddly, they don’t seem to sell directly from their site, but Amazon stock them, and they’re the same sort of price as PLA/ABS.

If you’re interested, I found these settings work best for my Prusa i3: Nozzle:240C, Bed: 65, reducing to 55 after a few layers, Fan: 20-30%. If laying down supports on the bed, I use blue tape as the first layer can be a bit difficult to adhere.
Thanks a lot cobnut, I ll check it out…
