I have a random clicking sound and it seems to be under the print plate. I suspect it could be a bearing as I can’t find any obstructions around there. I have about 60 hours on the printer. I can’t seem to find a supplier to purchase them. Any suggestions as to what else it might be or where to purchase would be very much appreciated. Arn S.
The printer is a Monoprice Maker Select IIIP. Arn S.

You would want to use a caliper and measure the bearings, but I bet they are an LM8UU bearing they are common see here: http://amzn.to/2gzt16H LM8UU bearings are 8mm inside diameter, 15mm Outside diameter, and 24mm long. Common for X and Y axis on many printers.
Some bearings are just noisy, so people upgrade to bushings Amazon.com they fit in place of the LM8UU bearings.

Thanks for the info Jeff. It is 8mm and the LM8UU is probably the right replacement. I will replace the bearings if it gets any worse.
Yeah no prob, Also I have over 1200 printing hours on my bushings. They hold up good i just use a little bit of gun oil here and there on the rails. Good ol Hoppes #9 or what ever is cheap http://amzn.to/2hJmouV it helps quiet down the bearings too. I have a CTC with the LM8UU bearings still and a little lube helps the clatter. I just dampen the rods, and my z axis screw with a little oil on an old tooth brush, just lightly not enough to drip.

Just a follow-up report. I applied a little gun oil on the Y-axis rods (very lightly) and the clicking problem stopped after a short while. I now have about 72 hours on the printer and everything is running smoothly.
