Hi all,

I am about to buy a P3Steel (thanks to the help on my previous post) but I cannot seem to find a good supplier. When I look at this page: FDM 3D Printing Service | Instant Quotes, Online Ordering | Hubs the 3D prints look really good and all the comments are really great. But when I go on the internet to find a supplier with good quality parts I read bad comments regarding the quality of the parts in the kit, I see that a lot of the user have difficulties to find good instruction manual and the prints I see do not match what 3DHubs is showing on the link above. Am I missing something? Where did you guys buy your P3Steel printer?

Thanks a lot,
Pierre

PS: I don’t know if it makes any difference but I live in Belguim

http://orballoprinting.com/en/ Or eBay for the frame. There are some parts suppliers listed on reprap as well as instructions P3Steel - RepRap

I did not buy the parts kit / vitamins from them. Just the frame + rod kit.

I have a bunch of prusas and small home built deltas that I’m stripping parts off of. I took them all offline due to quality issues.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I have been looking at orballo printing and they seem professional but I saw many reviews that were negative about the kit that they were shipping. Did you buy from them? The reprap link is intereating too but it doesn’t really point out which supplier offers both good quality parts and a nice customer service…

Did you get quality issues with your Prusa steel as well?

No. It’s a bunch if pieces of steel.

Hello Pierre, We made a lot of upgrades in the kit in the last months. We also improve the quality of parts. Our frame is high quality laser cut.Our frame is powder coated and non galvanized. The galvanized frames are galvanized before laser cut and not after. So the edges are no galvanized and will rust. Feel free contact us: info@orballoprinting.com Best regards

Have a look at the website of HTA3D, they’re from Spain and have nice instruction videos how to assemble the kit.
