Been doing some research and bottom line i dont want to spend an extraordinary amount on my first printer. In fact i am not opposed to used or to a kit i must assemble. The ceiteria i have is it must print nylon sona heated bed and i suspect decent resolution so i can make usable parts. How much resolution doni need is the question? I see some with 50-350 microns. Is this enough? Also the dual head ctc look tempting but i suspect i will run one color only projects initially and but i may want to embedd a logo ag some point. Size is probably my limitation to start with keeping costs down. Some have 8x8x12 beds which is most ideal to start with while the majority have approx 7" square beds. Eventually i want something much larger. First i need to learn and make viable useful products for my projects. Thoughts?

Hi @Brian_Alan, you can check out our 2017 3D Printer Guide which has community reviews from printer owners. You can also have a look at the 3D Printer Index and compare printers by price and reviews. I hope that helps and happy buying!
I think the Original Prusa i3 MK2 would fit your needs. It can handle the temps for nylon (extruder temp safely up to 290), heated bed, auto level.
I have one that I built from a kit and it was not to hard to do. I am sure there are other printers that could be a good fit but one thing to watch for is the operating temp range of the extruder if you need to print nylon. To get above 235-240 you will need a machine with all metal hot ends or the ability to change to them.
Anyway just some thoughts.
