Some printers (such as the Flashforge finder) can be bought from the manufactures site, however, the shipping costs $60. I was wondering if their is any site that is a go to for buying 3d printers.

Thank you in advance,

Most of the time, unless you find a local store, you will be paying high shipping costs. These devices are both very large in physical size, as well as very heavy. I paid $64 for shipping on my Tronxy x5s i just got last week and that is very much an expected shipping cost for such an item being shipped long distance.

If you find a site offering such devices with free or very cheap delivery i would advise against it as the shipping service is likely not as good and there is a higher risk of your package being miss handled and arriving damaged.

Check Amazon and especially if you have prime. I recently got a QIDI X-Max which is huge and free shipping. Took about a week to get and this was because UPS can’t do their job right.

Did you get it on prime though?

Yes, my X-Max was Prime available. You can’t generally expect them to get it to you in two days but when the shipping is free on a 90 pound box it is ok if it takes a little bit to get to you.

I agree with that, but i wouldn’t class it as free shipping since u are paying for it with an expensive monthly/yearly subscription xD But yes that isn’t bad at all. I find the price on amazon for 3D printers to be steeper than other sites and part of it is definitely due to the shipping costs. I bought my Anet A6 on Ebay for only £120 (Including P&P) and my new Tronxy x5s i’m in the process of building i bought on GearBest for £280 (including P&P). Cheapest i found on amazon for the tronxy was about £400 including the P&P and i have prime.

Though i will say it might be cheaper in the US as printers seem to be more available there, i know there are a few smaller countries that can’t get them at all without ordering it to someone else and having them ship it. I did that for a friend in South Africa recently.

Prime is not expensive. Especially if you use it. I pay twice as much for Netflix each month.

Some of the filament I use a lot of, average of 15 spools a month, is cheaper on Amazon than from the manufactures own site and no shipping charge along with 2 day delivery.

15 spools per month! You must be rich! 0.o o.o o.0 xD

No, just a lot of customers. I currently run 11 printers. 4 are doing jobs right now and a 5th about to start.

If you are looking for a 3D printer store that ships all over the world and with zero shipping charges, visit 3D Printers Bay. Plus, you would also get 3D printers at highly discounted prices as compared to those on the official brand website.
