I just picked up a used Weistek IdeaWerk WT280 3d printer from Ebay. The seller stated that there is a small problem with the support base and it must be calibrated manually. The 3d printer even shipped with a print on the bed…I’m guessing to shows that it works.
I can’t get anything to print. I have leveled the print bed and manually moved the bed to different positions but when I try to print a file the printer tries to go to the X and Y max of the bed print and will not stop, making a loud noise from the stepper motors. I have cancel the print in fear damaging the machine. I don’t know if this is a software issue or a hardware problem. I have the printer settings to default.
Any ideas? I know this model printer does not have a large following online but any ideas would help!
