Hi all
Im getting this weird printing going on at the spot the printer changes direction, it gets worse if I up the print speed.
It’s an A6, using Cura.
I got the front and back brace upgrades, not sure how to fix that…
Hope anyone can help
Hi there,
that’s a so called Z-Seam. Basically it is the Point where the Printhead starts each Layer. Since the head is not always 100% filament free and the head stops at a new Layer for a split second, something of the Material drools out and this builds up layer by layer. Cura has a Option for this called “Z-Seam Alignment”. What this does is that it moves this Start Point to other Positions of the Print. The Standard Setting is Shortest, which causes the Point to be in a Vertical or Diagonal Line. Another way of fighting this is lowering Print Speed in combination with temperature. You have to play with the values but once you get it right you should have a good ratio of Speed and how visible the Seam is. I hope i could help you.
It could be loose belts or you my need to grease your rods.
