Hello.

If I manually level the bed, I can get the three corners just right with the paper deal, but the center position is touching the nozzle. This is only me second day using it. Could the bed be warped or is there some tweak to get the z access to pull up a little when moving to the center?

Also, I am using stick, glue, but no matter what I have tried so far I can’t get PET to stick without using a raft.

Thanks!

Unless you get extremely lucky, every surface is warped except precision ground alumium/glass/etc. I’m not familiar with your machine but this is why many have an induction probe on their extruder. It maps out the “topology” of bed before each print and factors the adjustments into the gcode. The quick & dirty fix would be to print with raft thick enough so you have a flat surface to print on.

It won’t be bed warp. You need to adjust the “Delta radius” in your firmware. This will adjust the maths to match the size of your printer.

@MindFuLL, delta printers are strange, cantankerous creatures that require far more loving than ordinary cartesian printers. I have built two deltas, and won’t be building another one.

I didn’t realize it was a delta machine. Thanks for jumping in.

I totally agree. I built a delta once and decided to sell it. IMO the only advantage was that it looked cool.

I really like it overall, and I bought the dense fluid extruder with it (hasn’t come yet). I have ABS figured out pretty well, struggling with PLA of all things, but the warped plate thing is annoying.

Do you have the steel or glass bed? You may need to modify your Z height just a tad.
