Wanhao i3 plus start and stop gcode

I’m looking for the start and end gcode for the cura 2.1.3 64 bit for my i3 plus. I can’t get into the gcode in the wanhao-cura that came with my printer. Any Ideas out there?

Any start code would be an M code for the heater and a go back to origin and shutdown would be a G50, but what I’m interested in is why would you want this, cura will auto code the headers, be aware that the 2.1 version dropped direct usb connection, in favour of sd card although why god only knows.

Thanks for the response, the wanhao i3 plus is not native to cura 2.1.3, going in the back way to add the printer to cura. I think that if cura doesn’t know the details of a new machine it can’t populate the correct settings for the start/end codes, I’m new to this so be gentle…LOL

try using the settings for the prusa i3 dup or reprap settings when asked for the machine model and start from there, or in my humble opinion use matter control from matterhackers with the same model. G code is very simple, I can teach you if you want, but as machines are all different the commands can be excecuted slightly different. its no big thing. when you’ve smacked your extruder into the varios obsticals a few times and get the hang of WHEN to disengage the drives and manipulate by hand you may not feel as “precious” about getting exactly the right code. We all learn by our mistakes and so will you. Glad to be of help.
