Hello everyone,

First off, i am no expert, I am rather a noob to 3D printing. I am having issues with the first print layer to a model. This has never really happened to me before (I have been printing for 2 months now). The outer layer starts off nicely, but when it starts to make the diagonal lines it messes up badly. I downloaded the model from Thingiverse and I use Cura for slicing. I have embedded an Imgur album with images of the issue and the latest Cura settings i used. I have messed around for a couple of hours with different temperatures on the bed and the nozzle, as well as with the print speed, but to no avail. It is worth noting though that i have an issue with the bed, in that it is not constantly reading the bed temperature. If the bed is moved to a certain point or beyond towards the Z-axis, the printer stops reading the temp. This hasn’t caused too many issues before though, so I am in doubt that this is the cause of my issue.

I will try to answer any questions to my best ability, but keep in mind that I am not that experienced.

Any input on this issue is greatly appreciated
