So im looking to buy my first 3d printer, and im considering the above mentioned model,

I am however uncertain if its worth the trouble i heard it had earlier, i am going to order it from amazon uk so im wondering will there still be a chance to get a terrible protoype model or is that risk over with. I am mainly buying it for its support of multiple types of materials, are there bether 3d printers out there for that price range?

What are you planning to do with it? Is it for home or hobby use, education, or for a small business?

I have a Wanhao Duplicator 5s mini, it has great build volume, print speed and overall quality is great.

They are surprisingly good! These are geared towards the professional market - architects, designers, prototype builders. So consider that model as well.

i was looking for something that would work as a hobby 3d printer but also competent for any potencial project i would want to work on for the future.

i decided to buy it crossing my fingers that any problem that was pointed out early in its production would be fixed by now.
