we just created our Hub some days ago and are waiting in the waitlist. I have read that it can take a while since we get out of the waitlist and can start printing and reciving orders.
How long does it take to be accepted?
We are bassed in Valladolid (Spain) and there is only one Hub here, so we belive there is room for another Hub like us.

Thank you for checking in on your application. Due to the high number of 3D printing services connecting to 3D Hubs over the last 5 years we’ve noticed that the supply on 3D Hubs has outgrown the demand. Therefor we’ve decided that in order to maintain a healthy marketplace our focus will be making sure that our current community of suppliers are receiving enough orders first and thus on-boarding is strictly limited for new suppliers and halted for desktop FDM and SLA printers. Other manufacturing technologies will be invited depending on the demand that we receive for these technologies.Unfortunately we have no way of giving you an estimate on when you might be invited to join the platform, my apologies for this inconvenience. I hope you can understand our position in this matter.
Even though in Valladolid there aren’t many service providers - the amount of orders isn’t enough to justify adding more suppliers. We believe that the amount of Hubs in the region is still enough to serve the demand.

we are really looking forward to become Hubs, that’s why we will try int these few lines to let you see why you should allow us to become Hubs.
As you said, it’s important to mantain a healthy marketplace, and we consider that not allowing us to become Hubs, offering our products to customers, goes against your aim of having a healthy marketplace. These are the two main reasons:
1: There is only one Hub in Valladolid (our town), so he has the monopoly of the market, beeing able to set the prices he wants. A few months ago, I ordered him some prints, and I can verify that the price he charged me was much higher than the one that others Hubs offered (those Hubs were from other cities). So as he is the only one that provides this service, he can do whatever he desires with the prices.
2: One of the basis of a healthy marketplace is the competition between providers, allowing the customer to choose between different options and prices. This also foment innovations from the providers, so that they get the attention of the customers.
We hope that you take these considerations in account and allow us to become Hubs.
If this option is finally not available, we will use other services or create our own web-page, but we sincerely prefere to become part of this great comunity.
