Hi all,

I am new to the 3d printing game. My company is getting our rickshaw scanned for 3d printing in another country. It is approx. 3’x 3’x 3’ It can be made smaller however though.

Is it common to find a printer that can make something that large? The material must be as durable as possible… what would you recommend ? Any ball park idea on the cost per unit?

Thanks so much!!!

3 foot lengths is really pushing the limits of what even the largest size printers on 3dhubs can do, so its not really common no.

At that size, you’re probably limited to PLA, as most other materials will warp too much. Up to you to decide if that is durable enough.
