I have just finished assembling the k8400. I am loading filament by selecting the load filament option. It tells me to insert filament until 1.5 cm is visible and then press the button. I insert the filament and then press the button. But then it seems to do auto home two times and the LCD goes back to status screen I dont understand, I have waited in case the nozzle needs to warm up. But I have waited for 10min. I think the problem have something to do with the MAXTEMP error message. And I also find it confusing the temperature is 0/0°. But I really have no idea what’s going on. Do anyone know the solution?

This is a bit of a shot in the dark, but it seems the temperature sensors are not connected (properly)? If the temperature sensor isn’t confirming that the set temperature is reached, the printer will not proceed. If the software is unable to detect the sensor, it might result in the process termination that you see.

You should at least be getting an actual environmental temperature reading from the sensor(s) - see attached photo: it’s between 23 - 24 dgr C. in this room now. If you see 0 / 0, then the actual temperature / set temperature are both at 0 degrees.

Maybe the wiring is not correctly fitted in the terminal or a piece of isolation is also in there?

You are right, I have mixed up the wires for the sensor and the heater. Thanks!

Perfect, hope it works out now!

Happy printing!
