Hi,

I’ve spent the best part of two years collecting the magazines and building my own 3D printer.

Finally managed to complete the series and I began building the project.

During the collaboration stage, I was unscrewing one of the screws on the heater bed and it came loose and fell off, into the under belly of the printer.

This then caused the power to turn off and I was unable to turn it back on, fearing I’ve shorted the power supply, I tried taking the 3D printer apart.

I have found I now have 2 problems:

1. My 3D printer has no power

2. I am unable to take off the sliding cover to investigate properly.

I have emailed the help and support team, and they have asked what episode I need replacing, unfortunately I don’t know what is wrong with it to ask for a replacement.

Is anyone able to help me, take the cover off (I have used the catches on the slider, but this doesn’t work) and what might be wrong with the power.
