Is there a step for calibrating the offset of the dual extruders?

It looks like your nozzle offset it wrong. Somewhere in the printers Utilities menu is something along the lines of calibrate extrude. This prints lines from each nozzle and asks you which ones line up. Doing this calibration should fix your problem.

Thx for replying sir.

I am newbie for this. How can I calibrate this nozzle?

Even i have printed 20x20x10 cube but it seems to be height is almost 11mm… Is it posible to calibrate Z-axis… If so then how sir??

Pls tell me

Hello all!!!

This is my offset value from ReplicatorG… Pls see the image… It says xNozzle=33 and rest all axes are 0.

Distance between my two nozzle is 34.35mm…So Whats the value I needed to change???

Thx for the reply. Belts are tight sir… Still its shifting by 1mm…

What to do??

Try -1mm. If that’s wrong try +1mm

Have you tried contacting the company that makes the printer?

Thx sir…

I have already tried that… Pls see the image and tell me where could be the issue sir…??

ya I have. They are telling to check the mechanical settings. But I am already set up the printer. With single left and right extruder’s I have taken prints.

What may be issue sir?

Add 1mm and see how it goes

35.55 try

Looks like you need to run the nozzle calibration process.

You say you are using makerware… do you mean Makerbot desktop? If that is what you are using then you need to select ‘devices’. From the menu and then ‘device preferences’. Scroll down to ‘toolhead offset settings’. Setting [0] should have a value… mine is set to 34100um. The other two should be 0. You will have to adjust the number up or down until you get the alignment that you want. Based on your measurement I would start with 34350um.

for x axis you need to scroll to the ‘axis home positions mm’. You can adjust the Z value to get it adjusted where you want it.

hope this helps! Good luck!

how to run the nozzle calibration process sir?

Ok, I have connected my board and it has detected but Device preferences are disabled.

How can I enable to change the settings?? Is there any alternative for that sir??

Still its coming like that. How to change the offset value?

I will check it sir…
