I tweeted @3DHubs regarding this the other day, but I just thought this might be a better medium for discussion than Twitter. It’s a fairly straightforward question (I hope) regarding what we can and can’t do when advertising our hubs. I’ve looked through the FAQ etc and come up blank on whether it’s permissible to use the 3D Hubs logo on materials advertising my hub. If so, I was wondering what restrictions and/or guidelines there might be. If not, I’m wondering if there are any other ideas/suggestions people have used with success, particularly relating to offline advertising (online, my website and social media etc covers most bases).

At this moment we don’t have clear guidelines online indeed. Usually we think it’s super cool if others use the logo in the context for 3D printing. I guess the only thing to make clear is that people don’t get the impression you’re 3D Hubs staff. Hope that helps a bit! Filemon
That definitely helps, thanks

I guess it would be fine, to use the logo on youtube / blogging guides about 3d printing (to refer to my hub for example) ?
We are a community afterall, so it sounds completley fair and even awesome to follow the same imagery! I’ve seen a couple facebook profiles with the logo’s already that indeed distinguish themselves as a Hub.
YouTube gaming don’t seem to mind using our logo ^^
