hi everyone. i just got my hands on my printer 2 days ago and am on my 5th print. i was just wondering what kind of maintance/upkeep i sould perform every print or every couple of prints. i just want to make sure i get the most quality/time out of this cool machine. thanks

Level your bed each print.

clean printing surface with alcohol

use lithium grease on Z axis rods

keep belts tight

run some cleaning filament every filament change

check all your stop files prior to printing using Netfabb or program of your liking.

cut straight tip on filament prior to loading

tighten any loose bolts

design a calibration box so you can test your printer for accuracy

print a Benchy and measure for accuracy

if a print comes out bad use reference prints from S3d. To fix your issues

always save your printing profiles that work.

Yeah my first print was garbage. I got the printer used and the calibration went a little wacky in transport bit after I tool the time to calibrate it my second print looks amazing. Thanks for the information.
