The last thing we do is acetone finishing on printed pieces with a small lidded fryer (just put a few drops of acetone onto the bottom, turn on warm for 30 seconds and then remove prints outdoors). This provides a nice smooth finish to the print :-).

I am using filament from a UK based company ( as I am in the UK) they are called Rigid Ink. So far I have had a few good prints and I have read some good reviews about their filament.
Today I am going to be working on getting some of the upgrades printed
Me Again. I have printed some of those prints but I have noticed that when leveling the bed I can slide a piece of paper over the glass bed and it just scrapes the nozzle at the edges of the print bed. However when I move the nozzle to the center of the print bed the paper is nipped tight against the glass bed.
I assumed my print bed is warped but I thought the glass bed on top of it would correct that? Has anyone got any ideas?

Try putting a 1mm washer under each corner where you have clamped the glass down
O.K, SO I have sorted out the bed level issue. It appears that the old corner grips I had printed for the glass bed were causing the issue. I have since printed the ones uniquesoftware suggested and this is now working fine.
Also, I installed the new nozzles and block that uniquesoftware suggested and the first print I did last night was much better and what I would expect to see off this printer. I am going to try and print a larger print soon as the last few large prints I have done have suffered from layer bad separation. It has been so bad that the prints just fall apart.
I will get this printer working well soon. Once I am done I will document on here everything I have done that has worked for me.
