My printer always printed without problems, but since 2 weeks it beginnst to underextrude at a certain height. The underextrusion lasts about 3-4mm, afterwards it prints normal again!

What could be the issue?

Does it do this on different models? Also we need a lot more info. Printer, material, temps etc.

It appears on models which have small areas to print, for example the neck of a figure…

Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3

Material: PLA

Temperature: 210°C

Printspeed: 45mm/s

2 perimeters

Layerhight: 0.2mm

Nozzle-Diameter: 0.4mm
