Ultimaker Print Bed Heating issue, help needed!?

When using the Ultimaker 2 i get this print bed issue which is to do with the temperature sensor, it seems to work when i switch the machine on and off a few times. Sometimes it even happens when i reduce the print bed temperature to 0 when using PLA. I was jsut wondering if anyone had encountered this problem and if so how to fix it, i assume it is probably my fault but not configuring something correctly but still frustrates me to no end. All comments are graciously welcomed!
