WHAT WEIGHT, IS ULTIMAKER 2 PRINTBED ARRANGEMENT DESIGNED TO CARRY?
To elaborate the question- Uktimker’s build volume is over 200x200x200 cu.mm . with 100% infill that volume of ABS/PLA product would weigh about 8 to 9 kgs ( dsnsity of ABS is 1040 g/cm3). So, can the bed plate, which is a 4mm aluminium plate that acts as a cantilever plate, carry that much weight without being deformed??

I would think the weight would be no problem for the alu plate, but the springs holding it up and level, will probably compress, and alter the final shape of the print.

But on another note, you probably wont be able to print max volume with 100% infill, it would deform and crack.

and in most cases a max of 30/35 % infill is already a lot, and very strong,

you could also make the wall thickness, top/bottom layer more thicker, like 1cm, that would probably make it indestructible

And you might run into missing steps from the Z stepper motor

you also will need to change filament roll at least 10 times

and have the printer running for more then a week, (if you use the standard 0.4mm nozzle)
