3k for that printer no way. You can buy much better printers for less than that
Yes 3k is not an easy spend, but it is still cheaper that a makerbot 5th gen, which doesn’t even have a heated bed… (Or work :P) What would you recommend that would be in par with it?
I’m curious. In terms of quality, build size and heated bed?
The other alternative is the kit ultimaker original which is still holds up well against most printers.
I know that SLA is pushing the prices down and resolution high. IMO in the coming months we are going to see that what today cost 3k it will cost way less, too many options out there and the winner will be the company that is capable to offer low prices and nice quality (just like always).
I prefer the SLA since I prefer to pay $$ for better resolution, speed wise SLA is not there yet, but it will
