1) Allow customers to specify infill amounts
I get frequent requests for full or high amount of infill to be used. This is very problematic for me because it leaves me either absorbing the cost, or trying to estimate a cost, and coming back to the customer with a higher price than they expected and risking losing the order altogether. As well, its confusing for the customers, because some prints with thin walls are going to be solid anyways, so they might get no upcharge the first time and then a big upcharge on a larger volume print and wonder what the heck is going on.
It would be far better if a customer can just have a slider where they can pick how much infill they want, with the default being 25% or so, and the system make the necessary adjustments to the price automatically. Some prints, like busts, are fine either hollow or very low infill, so this could save customers a lot of money and hub providers unnecessary printing time.
2) Make the order page more mobile friendly.
If an order has a large number of STL file, first this uses up a ton of data, but it also slows my iPhone to a crawl trying to load all the images and formatting. As a result its very difficult to respond back to customers when I’m away from my computer, and obviously customers have a hard time as well if they don’t have the latest and greatest phone. A better way would be to detect a mobile devices being used and being offered a “Load More” button.
