I am a total newbie with 3D printers so excuse my ignorance. I am trying to print a test with the printer but each time I go to print the extruder moves up away from the bed and makes a mess. I’ve tried calibrating the device with the provided instructions but I must be missing a step. Any help would be appreciated.
Tried calibrating - were you successful ie did you level the print bed/set the extruder height above the bed?

It’s helpful if you can provide a copy of the actual .stl you tried to print from your SD card.

I figured it out. One of the bars that holds the extruder was not set in the hole properly making the unit not calibrate properly. Thanks for the replies.
