Hi, I am trying to connect the printer so I can update the firmware as per the instructions in issue #76.
“select Manual Printer Controland then click Connect. The text should change from Disconnected to Idle. If you are connecting for the fi rst time, the software will prompt you to calibrate your printer, but you should ignore this for now.”
You can’t ignore this, the prompt won’t let you.It ask’s “Would you like to continue and start the calibration setup?” you can select Yes or No. If you select No, the dialogue box closes and the Manual control window continues to show that it is disconnected. If you select yes, the manual control panel closes and is replaced with the calibration window.
How can I upload the firmware without first calabrating the printer?
Do you have any additional details on your make/model of printer. Also, is this the first time your connecting this printer to your computer?
