Hi, anyone know the best material to print in that you could see through, similar to glass, thanks

The transparency depents on roughness of the surface.
A FDM printer cannot give a complete transpartent look cause of the layers.
You come a lot closer using an SLA printer.
With FDM/FFF it’s not possible to get completely clear prints because of the layers. If you use FDM/FFF you need to print in thick layers (o.3mm) witch you need to coat it afterwards with a clear coat (epoxy for example) to get a more clear result. You can use PET/PETG to get the best clear results.
If you want to have real clear prints you can look for SLA and Polyjet printers. These prints needs some polishing afterward. Printing a mould and for acrylics is also a possibility.
