Hey Hubs,

So it seems recently you have changed the payout system and it’s got some problems. So in the old way pickups were something like 5 days after delivery and shipping was 10 days until payout if the customer didn’t click the button to confirm it was all good.

Now it seems to be holding all payments forever, as there is no timer listed anymore, it just waits until the customer confirms they got the part. Then once they confirm they got it, there is another 5 days until you actually pay us. I sometimes have to rely on the income from orders to buy more filament or parts for the printer. If I have to wait 2+ weeks to get paid that is kind of hard. Not to mention some customers are never heard from again after pickup of the part. Plus I really don’t want to bother the customer with messages after its done to try and get them to click a button. I Really don’t have the time for it either.

What was wrong with the old timers? They worked fine. People got their parts, had 5-10 days to complain. If they didn’t it must be all good. Easiest for everyone. Why make them come back to the order and do more work. I certainly don’t want to from my end and I wouldn’t want to from the customers end.

Plus what about something like reducing the timers/requirements for more trusted hubs? Hubs that have been around for a while and have good feedback should be trusted after a while. Would be nice to get things a little more relaxed, I mean I have 50 order’s and all 5 stars. Maybe link it to the Level system (which is broken too; 20 orders for intermediate, 200 orders for the next level, professional). eBay Does it this way, maybe you should look into their ways. At first they hold all sales for 2 weeks, then after X amount of sales and time they remove the restrictions and then you get paid right away for orders.

So yet again, you made changes that just didn’t quite seem to work out. Your holding our money for way to long now.

Thanks,

Josh

Hey @Josh_Raples

Thank you for your feedback. I think you’re mostly referring to the recent bug we had where the timer on the awaiting pickup stage was gone. That made the order automatically close after 2 weeks rather then 5/10 days.

It has been fixed last friday, but the affected orders still have this, only the new ones don’t. So, now it should be business as usual.

Regarding the payment: We have been paying out twice/week after the order moves into pickup successful - really nothing has changed.

I can take a look at any of orders that weren’t paid out in a timely manner and discuss this case by case.

Hope this answers it.
