Thin plate under the Build Plate is Flimsy, causing leveling issues

Does anybody know where I can find design specs for the various hardware parts of the Wanhao Duplicator I3? Specifically, I would like to redesign the plate that goes under the build plate and build one.(Perhaps print it)…

Is the Wanhao design open source, or is it not? If so, please let me know where I can find the design specs.

OKay well there are some other designs out there

mostly making it thicker or for some reason 4 bearings vs 3

buy what I really came here to say

is pleease don’t try to print one

the aluminum as it is warps from heat

a print would be destroyed within a print or 2
