Hello everyone, this is my first thread and it probably wont be my last. I just got into the 3d printing game with a tevo tarantula. I have it all assembled and calibrated, however whenever I print a test washer it has a line running down the side of it, as I watch it I can see the x and y axis move smoothly until 1 spot on the washer, then it will suddenly shake like it hit something, thus leaving a blemish in that spot. I tried printing 3 washers in a line to see if it was just 1 spot on the bed, but all 3 have the same issue.

1. the belt seems fine and tight

2. nothings hitting the bed

3. the bed is leveled

does this seem like a bad stepper motor? what could be the cause? Thanks in advance.

I am using slicer, with default firmware

It could be the screws from the X ends top hitting the aluminum extrusions. They are a little to long depending on how they are installed. A few pictures or a video would make it easier to help

Figured it out, it was the retraction, the printer was squirting too mutch filliment down and it was causing a line where it would raise a level
