Tevo Tarantula i3 cant read SD card

I just finished building my Tevo Tarantula i3 and thing works except the LCD unit wont read any .gcode files off my card. the home screen sow an card in inserted but when I go to the second screen ( cick the knob it say “no SD card” and when I scroll and click the “no SD card” it’ll bring up a menu folder, but nothing is in it. I am using Cura 2.1.2 to slice, I’m a complete noob at 3D printing, but this really has me stumped.

Have you tried a different sd card? Allot of people have had issues with the supplied card.

I tried 4 different cards, both micro and regular SD… I even bought a brand new SanDisk 8gb. I’m sending the LCD unit back to the seller for an exchange
