Does someone knows how to change the extruder temperature on a Da Vinci 2.0A printer?

Hey Lynk,

I don’t know how to change the temperature to set amounts, but if your using the latest XYZWare you should find there’s a material choice section pre set to ABS. Try changing it to PLA and see what the results are like. These may only be average conditions for PLA so it may not be perfect for the material your using.

since i change the catridge its pre set for PLA
i get an error if i switch it

THE TEMPERATURE IS WRITTEN IN THE CHIP THAT IS IN THE CARTRIDGE SO THERE IS NO WAY TO MANUALLY CHANGE THE TEMPERATURE UNLESS YOU FLASH THE PRINTER AND INSTALL ANOTHER SOFTWARE ON IT. THERE IS A CARTRIDGE RE-SETTER THAT IS SOLD ON WWW.WCTEK.COM THAT YOU CAN USE TO RESET THE CARTRIDGE AND CHANGE THE DEFAULT TEMPERATURES TO USE OTHER FILAMENT BRANDS.

XYZ PRO dont connect with the printer :frowning:

FROM MY UNDERSTANDING XYZPRO ONLY WORKS WITH THE PRO PRINTER AND XYZWARE IS FOR ALL OTHER PRINTERS.

YES THAT IS THE ORIGINAL SOFTWARE. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD IT FROM THERE WEBSITE ONCE YOU CREATE AN ACCOUNT.

BUT THE LINK I POSTED EARLIER WWW.WCTEK.COM IS AN ADDITIONAL ITEM THAT DOES NOT HAVE TO DO WITH THE XYZ BRAND. I KNOW THE WEBSITE SHOW XYZPRO BUT THAT IS WHAT THEY CALL THEY PRODUCT.

YES THAT IS RIGHT XYZ 2.0A DOES NOT ALLOW THAT, YOU WOULD HAVE TO PURCHASE THE PRODUCT ON WWW.WCTEK.COM IN ORDER TO RESET THE TEMPERATURE VALUES ON THE CHIP THAT IS INSIDE THE FILAMENT CARTRIDGE THATS THE ONLY WAY.

XYZPRO (SOFTWARE FROM XYZ) IS ONLY USED FOR THE XYZ PRO PRINTER THAT ALLOWS FILAMENT FROM OTHER MANUFACTURES.

I HAVE AN OLD DA VINCI 2.0 AND I USE PLA/ABS AND OTHER FILAMENT BRANDS.

I have an xyzzerocart which i used to change setting and reset cartridges. The length reset works but temp values makes no difference at all. I reckomend saving the £40 and flashi g repetier for free. Then you can change basically any possible setting you can think of and more, or leave it default, and use any slicer you want :slight_smile:
