How can I change a single extruder to 2?

Well, it’s going to be too difficult to help you without knowing your printer brand and firmware type

First of all you’ll need to

1. Make sure your printer board has a free slot for an additional stepper motor for the new extruder

2. Get a dual hotend, if your board doesn’t have a slot for a second heater cartridge, you can opt for a 2-in-1-out solution like the E3D Cyclops

3. Make the necessary firmware (I asume it’s Marlin firmware) changes to support dual extrusion, I’m pretty sure you’ll find plenty of tutorials out there
