Hi All,
Here is a new bee to the exciting world of 3D printing. I have bought a Sunhokey printer and had fun building it together. All seems to be working fine and I was verifying the E-steps and that is where my issue starts. Running filament in the machine is giving me issues. The extruder motor is just making a clicking sound and looking at it it is trying to move the motor but it does not. Tried to adjust the tension of the filament going into the motor but even with out filament it is doing this.
Can any expert provide me some guidance where to start looking and resolving the issue.
Many thanks to all.
I had the same issue with my i3, and it turned out to be a bad connection in one of the wires to the stepper. I’d test for continuity and see what you get.
Thank you. Will have to check this tonight.
was this right at the connector?
Yes, the end of the wire was not crimped into the terminal properly.
I have as well the I3 plus! Have you the plus edition?
