Hi fellow makers,
I’m Julie, 3D Hubs Mayor of Lille.
I’m organizing an event on February 6th in Tourcoing, which is just across the border with Belgium. I thought you could be interested, as some of you live close by.
The event will take place during the Startup Weekend Maker Edition. We will talk about Strong & Flexible filaments, but also present the Techshop, a space dedicated to makers that will be opening in Lille soon, and the Machinerie, that combines a FabLab, a coworking space and a CoBoutique.
You will also have the occasion to not only sh****are a beer (or more) and your interest for 3D printing with other Hubs, but also meet other makers, help innovative projects and generate orders!
You can RSVP here. The event description is in French. If you plan on attending and don’t speak French, let me know, I’ll make sure the presentation will be both in French and English. Or will try with my best Dutch, which is really poor still, @Filemon can confirm.

J’organise un évènement qui aura lieu le 6 Février à Tourcoing, à la frontière belge. J’ai pensé que vous pourriez être intéressés, certains d’entre vous vivant juste à côté.
L’évènement se déroulera dans le cadre du Startup Weekend Maker Edition. Nous aborderons le sujet des Filaments Strong & Flexible filaments, et nous accueillerons le Techshop, un espace dédié aux makers qui ouvrira bientôt ses portes à Lille, ainsi que La Machinerie, un lieu qui combine à la fois un FabLab, un espace de coworking et une CoBoutique.
Vous aurez aussi l’occasion de partager une bière (ou plus!) et votre intérêt pour l’impression 3D avec d’autres Hubs, mais aussi de rencontrer d’autres makers, d’aider des projets innovants et de générer des commandes!
